Works for four violins and bc (including an optional part for bass violin or cello)

The first modern editions of two fine sonatas for the unusual combination of four violins and continuo. Both sonatas were probably written around 1690 by the same first-class anonymous Italian composer, and are preserved in the Oxford Music School collection in the Bodleian Library.
